The City Council meets the first and third Mondays of each month at 6:00 pm.The council meeting agenda is posted online, at City Hall, the community bulletin board in front of the community center, and channel 12 on the local cable tv system at least 24 hours prior to each meeting. Council Meetings are open to the public. Citizens are urged to attend and stay informed of city business and regulation. A Public Forum is held at each meeting to allow residents to speak on topics that are not included on the meeting agenda. Council meetings are videotaped and aired on the local public access channel 12, then on Tuesday evening (7:00 pm) and Wednesday morning (10:30 am) immediately following the meeting. Council Meeting Minutes are open to public viewing and copying. They are available here, or you may request a copy at the clerks office. The minutes are also published in the Gazette and in the City Newsletter. |
