DO NOT BLOW IT

DO NOT BLOW IT INTO THE STREET
Keep clippings in the yard...NOT in the street.
Blowing or leaving grass clippings and other debris in the street during yard maintenance not only looks bad, it is ILLEGAL
Although the act of using a leaf blower is not a violation, the at of blowing or leaving yard trimmings and similar material in the street is a violation. The City considers these acts to be a Municipal Code Violation.
Besides being a Municipal Code Violation, grass clippings can also clog the storm water drain system. When drains are clogged with clippings & debris, rain and storm water can back up and flood homes and property. Also, rain and storm water are not cleaned or treated, so when storm drains are used as a dumping ground, the result can be disastrous and smelly.

Golf Cart Permits

ATVs & UTVs will now be required to be registered with Linn County. Proof of registration and insurance needs to be provided to the City. No permit fee will be charged from the City.
Springville licenses the use of golf carts. These vehicles must have a slow-moving vehicle sign and a safety flag at least 5 feet high. A permit will be issued when the required $25.00 payment, copy of current licenses(s) for anyone that will be driving the golf cart, and proof of insurance has been received in good order.
