We are sorry to report that on January 9, 2021 the SHS Alumni Association made a group decision to cancel the 2021 Alumni Banquet due to Coronavirus concerns/unknowns.
All of the classes that were supposed to be honored at the 2020 Alumni Banquet and the 2021 Alumni Banquet (1995 & 1996, 1990 & 1991, 1980 & 1981, 1970 & 1971, 1960 & 1961, 1950 & 1951, 1940 & 1941), will be honored next year at the 2022 Alumni Banquet on Saturday, June 4, 2022.
Please help spread the word about the cancelation!

STAY OFF COX LAKE DUE TO THIN ICE
We have received reports of people out on the ice on Cox Lake. Due to the aerator, the ice is not solid
No-one is allowed on Cox Lake due to thin ice.
Please talk to your children and teenagers about how dangerous going out on the thin ice could be.
Their safety and the safety of our first responders is very important!

Wapsi Waste Management has been hauling solid waste for the City of Springville since 2018.
Due to increased recycling costs, it is necessary to raise the cost of hauling $3.50 per month.
This increase will be reflected on the December 2020 utility bill.
