Meter Reading Delayed
Due to software issues, meters were not able to be read on the 15th this month as normal.
You may notice a slight increase in your usage and billed amount this month.
The meter readings for next month will be for shorter period of time to adjust for the
longer billing cycle this month.
Random Hydrant flushes will be done in September.
Note that water flow disturbances may be experienced for a couple hours when these flushes are occurring.
Dates and times when these flushes will occur are not known.

Open House Meeting to update residents on the 5th Street Project

Are you creative and would like to show your community pride? The City of Springville is looking for 3-5 volunteers to be on the Banner Committee. The banners will highlight those things in our community that make living and visiting our town such a wonderful experience. The committee will be responsible for developing guidelines for the design, sponsors, purchase and hanging of the banners on Broadway. The Mayor and 2 City Council Position will be on the ballot.
Candidates can register starting August 28th until September 21st.
All candidates must be residents of Springville, be eligible to vote, get ten signatures on a petition to put your name on the ballot and file papers with the Linn County Auditor.
City Council positions are voted for at large. The two candidates who receive the most votes are elected.
