The City of Springville2018 Budget at a Glance is now available.
The City will be sponsoring City-Wide garage sale day to be held on June 12th from 8am-4pm.
The City will provide the advertising in local papers, but will not be supplying maps this year.

FY21 City Budget
We are sorry to report that on January 9, 2021 the SHS Alumni Association made a group decision to cancel the 2021 Alumni Banquet due to Coronavirus concerns/unknowns.
All of the classes that were supposed to be honored at the 2020 Alumni Banquet and the 2021 Alumni Banquet (1995 & 1996, 1990 & 1991, 1980 & 1981, 1970 & 1971, 1960 & 1961, 1950 & 1951, 1940 & 1941), will be honored next year at the 2022 Alumni Banquet on Saturday, June 4, 2022.

A large COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Alliant Energy Convention Center in Cedar Rapids, hosted by Reutzel Pharmacy, in collaboration with LCPH & the Iowa Pharmacy Association. The clinic will be open to any individual age 16 & older, & will begin at 9am on Sat., April 17, & run through 9am Sun., April 18. Pfizer vaccine will be used at the clinic, & the second dose clinic will be held on May 8. Interpretation services will be available.
Appointments are required for this clinic. Any individual making an appointment should be available for both the first and second dose clinics. Once made, appointments cannot be rescheduled due to the limited hours of the clinic. Library Board Vacancy
There is a term opening on the Board of Trustees for the Springville Memorial Library:
Public Library Boards have five primary roles:
1.Advocate for the library in the community & advocate for the community as a member of the library board.
2. Plan for the future of the library.
3. Monitory & evaluate the overall effectiveness of the library.
4. Set library policies.
5. Hire & evaluate the library director.
If you are interested in being appointed by the Mayor to fill this vacancy, paperwork may be picked up at the library.
Completed paperwork is due to the library by June 1, 2021.
ATVs & UTVs will now be required to be registered with Linn County. Proof of registration and insurance needs to be provided to the City. No permit fee will be charged from the City.
Springville licenses the use of golf carts. These vehicles must have a slow-moving vehicle sign and a safety flag at least 5 feet high. A permit will be issued when the required $25.00 payment, copy of current licenses(s) for anyone that will be driving the golf cart, and proof of insurance has been received in good order.
The City receives many complaints and concerns regarding people operating golf carts without permits, children not properly restrained and driving at night. For your safety and the safety of others, make sure to operate the golf carts responsibly and according to City Code.
