We would like to thank the American Legion for the donation of the Christmas Tree in Butler Park
and to the Public Works Department and the all the volunteers that helped with setting up and decorating the tree.
It looks great and we appreciate all the time in effort put into making our town more festive for the holidays!

The City of Springville will hold a Public Hearing December 18, 2017 at 6:00 pm in the Springville City Hall. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to inform citizens of the City’s Intent to vacate the alley on the SE end of First Street S adjacent to the park. All citizens interested in the disposition of this alley are encouraged to attend. Written comments may be directed to City Hall or by calling Mark Bloom at 319-854-6428.
Help participating high schools earn Dollars for Students to provide additional cash for programs and needs at their school. Vote for your favorite school by placing your receipts from purchases at Lindale Mall stores and outside mall businesses in the Redemption Boxes in Center Court at the mall. Points are earned for every receipt. The higher the dollar amount of the receipt, the more points a school receives.

The Springville City Council would like to invite you to their last meeting of the year. This will be a short meeting, followed by a meet and greet.
There will be snacks available and feel free to bring your favorite snack to share (this is not a requirement).
The open house will be held on Monday, December 18 at 6:00 pm.
We hope you can help us celebrate the end of one year and the start of the new year.
The City is looking for citizens, businesses or organizations to sponsor a banner for our light poles on Broadway Street. br>
The cost to sponsor a banner is $100. You can proudly display or name or have a generic banner if you chose.
