Notice of water & sewer rates effective July 1, 2020.
Please click on the link below to review Ordinance 05-2020 for the water & sewer rates that will go into effect July, 2020.
NOTICE: It has also been brought to our attention that more garbage is being put out than is allowed. The City has contracted with Wapsi Waste to pick up only 2 cans of garbage per week/per household. Each can should weigh no more than
approximately 35 pounds.
We understand that with more people being at home and having time to do some cleaning out more garbage is being produced. Wapsi Waste will NOT be picking up excess garbage that is set out, or containers heavier than the 35 lbs.
If you have large quantities, we will try to work with Wapsi Waste to get this worked out prior to pick up. Please call City Hall at 854-6428
County Home Road is now closed to through traffic between Gilmore Road and Highway 13. Only local traffic, those who live within the area, are allowed to enter the work zone.
Access will be available for local traffic (those who live or work on County Home Road). Through traffic will need to use an alternate route.
The contractor has informed us they plan to mobilize their concrete plant and paving crews to County Home Road August 10th or August 17th. Work will resume at that time.

On Tuesday, July 7th the Springville Tractor Pullers Association (STPA) met and made the difficult decision to cancel their events planned for the weekend of August 7th, 2020. This includes the ECIPA Truck and Tractor Pull scheduled for Friday, August 7th as well as the bags tournament, concert and fireworks on August 8th.
The STPA committee announced "For the safety of our community, our volunteers, our competitors, and our spectators and based on the recommendations placed on us by the board of health, we are sad to announce that we are canceling all events put on by the Springville Tractor Pullers Association for 2020.
We are hoping to come back bigger and better for in 2021! Thank you for your patience and support"!
Unfortunately the difficult decision has been made to cancel the Quarry Run for 2020. They had hoped that additional restrictions were going to be lifted so they could move forward with confidence.
Thank you to those who have supported us in the past. We are looking forward to next year!
As of 6/18/2020: ECIPA TRUCK & TRACTOR PULL Friday, August 7th
At this time, the events put on by the Springville Tractor Pullers Association (STPA) are still on track to be held. We are continuing to monitor the situation and following a meeting on Tuesday, July 7th we will post any update on www. springvilletractorpullers.com and on the City of Springvilles website.
ECI Truck and Tractor Pull: Friday, Aug. 7 at 6 pm
Saturday, August 8th: bags tournament, semi show-n-shine, free concert and fireworks
The health and safety of our community is a priority during these unprecedented times.
The difficult decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Springville Fun Days Parade and Park activities. We feel It would be extremely difficult to comply with the current COVID-19 and social distancing restrictions at these events.
The STPA is monitoring the situation. Following the meeting on Tuesday, July 7th they will post an update on www.springvilletractorpullers.com regarding their decision if they will be holding the 2020 ECIPA Truck & Tractor Pull on August 7th or not. Thank you!
